The best postcolonial literature is enlightened. Neither is it limited to its local culture, and nor is it governed by the colonial culture. Instead, it has found a way to coexist in the local culture and the colonial culture. It has absorbed some modern civilization brought by the colonial culture on the basis of the unique and ancient local civilization and background as well as the imagination of regional feature. This combination enables the local culture to be seen, perceived and understood, which is of great significance for the inheritance of the local intangible cultural heritage.
Good postcolonial literature can break the limitation of local literature. Nowadays, against the background of globalization, if a distinctive civilization is to be known and received, it should be brave to change and accept while going outside. If an excellent literature of local feature becomes familiar to people, the local economy will be stimulated because more and more people will be willing to know and visit there. When its economy is lifted, there will be more opportunities for local people to invest in cultural heritage.
